Beverly a. Byrd
Beverly Byrd, a distinguished healthcare professional, educator, and advocate, is making a significant impact in the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) space with her book, Let Them See You Sweat: A DEI Perspective. With nearly four decades of experience in radiology, Byrd brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to workplace inclusivity, leadership, and overcoming professional challenges. A credentialed Radiologic Technologist and CT Specialist (ARRT RT, CT), Byrd has spent her career in both clinical practice and education, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. Throughout her journey, she has observed the challenges that many women and people of color face in professional environments. Motivated by her own experiences, Byrd wrote Let Them See You Sweat to not only shed light on these challenges but also to offer practical strategies for fostering more inclusive and supportive workplaces.
